Pear Sage & Ginger Cocktail
I don't post a ton of cocktail recipes, but boy do I love myself a good drink. This is the perfect thanksgiving / holiday cocktail that you can make ahead in a big batch. Not too sweet with classic holiday herbs, these go down easy!

For the Sage Ginger Syrup

(or 6 frozen ginger cubes)

Instructions

Start by making your syrup. In a small sauce pan, add sugar, water, ginger, and sage. Simmer on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture has slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Set aside to cool

To a large pitcher, add vodka, pear juice, 1 cup of your syrup (add more or less to taste), and top with sparkling water. Garnish with sliced pears and sage leaves.
